| About the Firm We were established in 1995 by two veterans of the executive search business to provide the highest level of professional service to a select list of clients. Our clients include large, middle market and start-up organizations. They share our conviction that the recruitment of talented individuals is paramount to their success. We conduct assignments for positions based in North America. Our clients include companies with overseas parents, customers or operations. When our clients have recruitment needs outside North America, we are happy to refer them to our correspondent firms overseas. The Firm has grown through a steady flow of repeat business and new clients, as well as the addition of experienced consultants. James E. Riddle, Principal in the firm of Riddle & McGrath, specializes in analyzing the managerial needs of organizations and matching those with talented candidates. His work spans a diverse business spectrum. He has conducted senior level searches in industries such as forest products, telecommunications, manufacturing and services, including providers of information technology and processing. His assignments have encompassed many functions, from chief executive officers to heads of business units to directors of major departments. Before forming Riddle & McGrath, Mr. Riddle was Managing Director of the Southeastern Region of A.T. Kearney, and also served on the firm's Management Committee. Prior to entering the executive search field in the early 1980's, Mr. Riddle was a senior executive serving as E.V.P. of American Standard Graphics where he had responsibility for a number of operations and hundreds of employees. He also served as President of an Atlanta based graphics communications company. Mr. Riddle's experience as a senior-level executive provides the advantage of understanding the client's perspective and goals for conducting executive search assignments. Mr. Riddle is a native of Indiana and a graduate of Indiana University. Send E-mail to: Jim.Riddle@Riddle-McGrath.com Patrick McGrathPatrick McGrath, Principal in the firm of Riddle & McGrath, is an experienced executive search professional who has conducted assignments for organizational leaders in transportation, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, and a variety of other industries and functional roles. In his prior association with A.T. Kearney Executive Search, Mr. McGrath was Managing Director of Special Practices, responsible for leading the practice areas of carrier transportation, contract logistics, and corporate logistics. He also served on the firm's management committee. Earlier in his career, the Secretary of Transportation named Mr. McGrath for a special recruiting assignment in Washington, D.C. During this time, he conducted recruiting assignments for the U.S. Department of Transportation and the U.S. Congress. Before joining the executive search profession, Mr. McGrath worked for TPF&C, a major compensation consulting firm. He was also Vice President of Personnel for John Nuveen, a national investment banking organization. Leslie Prior to joining the executive search business in 1993, Bill Leslie enjoyed a career in corporate and investment banking extending over 22 years, including a posting in London for three years. His business capabilities are extremely broad. He advised a number of corporate and government entities, both domestically and in Europe, on a wide spectrum of business and investment issues. His executive search practice has developed along an equally diverse path. His clients include start-ups and small to large corporate and multinational companies, both publicly and privately and domestically and internationally owned, in the consumer products, communications, media & entertainment, manufacturing and engineering & construction industries. Placements have included key senior and general management, finance, marketing, operations and human resource positions, both domestic and worldwide. Immediately prior to entering the executive search arena, Mr. Leslie spent 11 years with Manufacturers Hanover Bank (now J P Morgan Chase) in the international and corporate banking departments, both in Atlanta and New York City. His initial career in banking entailed 11 years with Trust Company Bank of Atlanta (now SunTrust Bank). He established that bank’s Representative Office in London and for three years conducted extensive business throughout Europe and the Middle East. Mr. Leslie served on active duty as an officer in the U.S. Navy for 11 years, having since retired with the rank of Captain. His assignments included service on several destroyers and as an Aide to the Deputy Commander-in-Chief, U.S. Naval Forces, Europe, in London. He earned a Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering at Georgia Tech and a Masters degree in Management from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, California. Mr. Leslie is an active member of the Society of International Business Fellows, the Southern Center for International Studies and Leadership Atlanta. |
